From Here to Eternity is a successful homage to disco, proving that timeless music can still find its place on today’s dance floors

Eric D. Clark is one of the nicest persons I’ve ever met. Prolific producer, living mostly on Earth, from Sacramento to Cologne, Berlin… via Paris. I am sure many of you already remember his great song From Disco To Disco. Last time we met, he gave me this copy of his Moroder ‘s « From Here To Eternity », a cover with the charismatic Amanda Lear. For those who never heard about Amanda, in few words : she was close to Paco Rabanne and Dali. She appears on a « Roxy Music  » front cover, her friend David Bowie pushed her to record her 1st single, she also recorded with Trevor Horn (Pet Shop Boys) and more recently, she gave her voice to the french « Edna Mode » from The Incredibles !

Few words about the record

Eric D Clark’s From Here to Eternity EP featuring Amanda Lear is a contemporary reinterpretation of a disco classic from another time. Known for his unique touch, Eric D Clark infuses here his vibrant house style and techno influences, giving new life to this piece initially performed by Giorgio Moroder in 1977. The participation of Amanda Lear, emblematic figure of the disco years, adds a dose of glamor and timeless charisma to the production, offering an experience that is both retro and modern.
