Released in 1971, at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, Live captures the soulful performance of the influential R&B and soul artist Donny Hathaway

Live is considered one of the greatest live albums in soul music, showcasing Hathaway’s talent and the power of live performance. Released on 1972 for Atco, recorded @ Troubadour/Hollywood, & Bitter End/New York, same as Curtis Mayfield, same intimacy. Donny Hathaway’s interprétations are absolutely great. The 13 minutes of Voices Inside (Everything is Everything) end it all in a so nice way, with a Funky note : « chef d’ oeuvre » !
