Ron Maney, known for his hypnotic productions as DJ Skull, teams up with L.A. Williams to deliver a captivating EP

From Chicago, this classic disco influenced piece just sounds great ! The recording quality may be a bit cheap but Maney (Skull) and LA Williams did something really groovy, and I always have good responses on dancefloors. The record contain a Roy Ayers‘s sample, taken from « The Golden Rod », a track from Everybody Loves The Sunshine’s album

Few Words About The Record

The production is impeccable: each element finds its place without stifling the other. Maney and Williams play on the contrasts between roller rink nostalgia and contemporary electronic intensity, like if it was dedicated to a retro-futuristic dance floor. The use of hypnotic sequences and catchy beats gives this project a timeless aura. Roller Rink 2000 is a declaration of love to a bygone era, reimagined with modern tools. Ron Maney and L.A. Williams offer a collaboration that will appeal to purists and lovers of discovery alike. Essential for fans of house with retro touches.
