David Bowie – Let’s Dance

1 min de lecture

L’album produit par Nile Rodgers et vendu à plus de 10 millions d’exemplaires, fait de Let’s Dance le plus gros succès de sa carrière

I ‘ve this record for a long time and I still care about it.Back in the day I even found another edition, from japan, the seller wanted a huge price, I could have change my car with the money, or even went to japan !

David Bowie ‘s return after a four-year break and a new direction for him, with Nile Rodgers from Chic helping on production for this stylish post-disco sound, even Moroder is in the project !!

Let’s Dance is a mixed bag. Everybody remember the three danceable singles–“China Girl,” a sensuous trak done with Iggy Pop collaboration, “Modern Love,” and the “eponyme” track.

  1. China Girl and maybe Let’s Dance, but other than those tracks, I don’t particularly like this album.

As for Chic’s productions from the period, I’d pick Koo Koo or even later INXS’ Kick.

Scary Monsters is far and away my most favourite Bowie LP.
