With Soul Sounds Vol. 3, Marc Pharaoh offers us a concentrate of energetic house, where percussive rhythms and deep bass blend to create a captivating musical journey, true to the spirit of Detroit

If you don’t want to dance on Soul City‘s productions, it’s probably because your already deadSoul Sounds 3 is a single by Detroit producer Marc Pharaoh, released in 1996 on Mad Mike’s Soul City label. The track is renowned for its influence on the Detroit house scene : fat & killer ! The Detroit house label, ran by Mad Mike & distributed by Submerge, has a unique signature, joy ! I have few records from this label, I truly believe I will still play them for a long time with the same enthusiasm, and the same smiles on the audience faces. In 2019, Omar S reissued this Detroit house classic on his FXHE label, paying homage to the original while preserving its essence. The question is not how to describe this sound, but how much time you will take to join the dancefloor !
